The metro services in Hyderabad are about to start from next month. In those routes traffic officials are focusing on the auto services due to increase in number of passengers. The auto drivers are asked to get ready according to the train timings. The officials have also conducted a seminar at Public Gardens in Indira Priyadarshini auditorium with auto drivers and collected their views. They also mentioned about mandatory of meters for passengers traveling to their destinations from metro railway station. All the drivers from Miyapur to Nagol and also the union members are requested to follow their instructions. As there is no parking place available in few areas, the auto drivers requested the police officials to allocate space for auto stands. The Traffic commissioner Dr V. Ravinder said that they will take actions accordingly after getting clear information about other related issues.
Most crowded areas
The traffic police are providing pickup and dropping facilities to the auto drivers at the metro railway stations. They also said auto drivers to charge minimum fares to the passengers traveling to their destinations and also to those who are coming to the stations. The minimum charges would be determined after examining the train journey for one week. The Hyderabad police are communicating with auto union representatives about the issues like the auto drivers of those particular areas are allowed for pick up and dropping? Or anyone can bring their autos. As most passengers are expected from the areas like Nagole to Mettuguda, Secunderabad to Begumpet and also from Begumpet to Ameerpet, the officials are planning to make special arrangements in those particular areas.
